A Red, Red Country

Funny how "values" was the most cited reason for people voting Bush. Terrorism a close second.
Funny how Massachusetts, New York, and Calafoinia all have huge gay populations, and are also most susceptible to terrorist attacks (lots of people + money + popular landmarks = prime targets), and they voted for Kerry.
Apparently, one needs to be at a safe distance to really get the whole picture and truly know what to do about these issues. Or maybe being close to the ocean makes people smarter. Or maybe being far away from anything at all makes people dumber. Or maybe Dick Cheney shot lightning bolts at all who would vote for anyone but Bush; he does resemble the Dark Jedi Emperor Palpatine, on many levels.

Don't forget to complain whenever you see the government doing something wrong. That's what we're supposed to do, for this is still a Democracy after all.
